3.5 stars. This was a sweet tale about two broken people finding their way to each other and learning to forgive themselves for their pasts. I adored Chase. Kay didn't jump off the page as much for me, but she was still a fairly likable character. My main criticism about the writing is that the affectionate terms, my girl/my boy, were overused quite a bit. The words made me smile initially, but they lost their sweetness before I got midway through it due to repetition and then just became annoying. Overall, a decent read...until the cliffhanger that is. ;)
